It's a prop the Ice Queen, , made! It's an ice cuff she made from cellophane, glass, and other shiny, icy materials to use as a prop. Fionna, , has a photo in her gallery of the cuff being used in a different way: [link]
Hi, my name is Lindsay, and I'm going to be going to my first convention this year. I really want to finish my Ice Queen cosplay, but the problem is, I've never sewn in any great detail before (I know the basics, but I've never made something as big as a dress). I was wondering if you knew of any really good tutorials to help me out, or if you could give me any tips to follow. Your dress looks amazing and really well done, so I thought I would ask. If you had any really good sites or tips for measuring and cutting the fabric, I think I could figure it out from there. I've already gotten the crown, choker, shoes, and the frames for the sleeve and skirt completely worked out and pretty much finished. The only part I need is the outer fabric, and it's a shiny fabric, if it helps, that looks identical to what you've used here. I know that makes it harder to work with in most cases, but it's all I could find that would work. I'm sorry, I feel like I'm asking a lot, but I'm starting to get desperate here.
